Scavenger Hunt Surprise

I had my wife do this with my adult daughter.
She was told to be up at 9am and begin her day. She had no idea what she was going to do. I just told her the whole day was taken up.
1. She came downstairs to find a nice anniversary card with directions to the first stop. It was her favorite bagel place. I arranged with the owner a week ahead of time to greet my wife with "good morning Mrs ........ and happy anniversary" I had arranged for her favorite bagel so she didn't have to order anything. Then the owner gave her the next card with directions to the next place. (The owner who was a woman was so excited about participating she gave her breakfast on the house)
2. The next card told her to go to the mall to a jewelry store. I again arranged for the clerk to recognize my wife by showing her a picture, approximate time she would arrive and greet her with "why hello Mrs.......happy anniversary" and she gave her the present I bought a week in advance. Then she gave her the third card which told her to Godiva Chocolates and the same routine.
3. The third step was to a spa where she got a manicure and pedicure with my daughter and they served a special lunch with a bottle of wine. That lasted most of the afternoon.
All of the businesses were excited about participating and gave way more than the usual attention and threw in some freebies. They were mostly women.
I golfed all day
