Romantic Things To Do

-- Romantic Things To Do --

There are so many romantic things you can do – whether you are active and love to see new things, or you prefer to snuggle up together on the sofa. No matter the season, you can add some romance to your life! We’ve broken it down by season so you can have fabulous ideas for romantic things to do no matter what the weather is outside!

Spring

The birds are chirping, and the grass is turning green! It’s time to get outside together.

• Head to a local zoo – it’s not too hot to spend the day walking around, and you can have fun ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the adorable new baby animals!• Raining outside? Cuddle up inside and watch both of your favorite childhood movies. • Pick her a romantic bouquet of wild flowers or, better yet – plant her a garden as a surprise!

Summer

It’s one of the most glorious times of year – the weather is warm and the people are light-hearted. • Dine al-fresco at your favorite restaurant• Go see a movie in the park• Bring a picnic to a local beach and spend the day in the sun. Don’t forget the SPF!• Check out local festivals and visit a few together, trying new things is a great way to strengthen your relationship. • Hot outside? Head indoors to an indoor rock-climbing centre. It’s a great trust building exercise.

Fall

The summer is over, but that doesn’t mean your romantic time together has to be! Continue the romance of summer all through the year. • Depending on where you love, you might be able to see some gorgeous signs of fall. Go for a romantic nature walk together and point out all the signs of autumn you see. • September’s a great time for fresh starts! Take up a class together, such as Spanish of French lessons (perfect if you plan to travel somewhere that speaks the language in the winter time!). Other fun classes for couples are digital photography, cooking, ballroom dancing, or poetry. • Be a tourist in your own city: take a tour, visit a local museum, and eat at the top-rated restaurant by travelers!

Winter

Fresh snow can be crisp and oh-so-romantic! Take full advantage of the season by bundling up nice and warm! • Go ice-skating! Don’t worry if neither of you know how – you can have fun holding each other up! Afterwards, grab a hot chocolate together. • Surprise her with a cute pair of mittens or a gorgeous scarf. • Head up to a ski lodge for the weekend. Don’t ski or snowboard? Indulge yourselves by simply enjoying the outdoor hot tub, spa treatments, and delicious meals! • Go holiday shopping together. • Head to your local library and spend sometime in the poetry section, finding poems that describe how you feel about one another. • Get away from the winter and lose yourselves on a hot beach somewhere in the Caribbean!
