More and more couples these days are looking for romantic places to elope, rather than having a traditional wedding ceremony. Not only is it more exciting, but running off together to get married can be incredibly romantic! With so many options these days, its easy to find a perfect location that's just right for you. Plus there are SO many great benefits to it! Why is eloping becoming so popular?* You can choose the romantic wedding destination of your dreams! There's no limit to where you can go. Since its just the two of you, you can choose a romantic adult getaway anywhere in the world! Alot of couples are choosing to have romantic weddings abroad to be unique, and for a chance to travel. * The cost is usually much less than with traditional weddings. - You don't have to pay for food for all of the guests, decorations, or even to rent a hall. Romantic Places To ElopeVegas - You guessed it! Though some people view it as cheesy, it really does have a lot of variety. It can be as tacky or as elegant as you want it to be. ..No, you don't need to go with the Elvis wedding if you don't want to ;)
Mexico - This is one of the most popular romantic places to elope because its is inexpensive, absolutely gorgeous, AND you can get your hotel to set everything up! Plus there are SO many beaches and private islands you could use, and the architecture is amazing! Another great place you may like is to have it among Mayan Ruins, or near some trees or rocks next to the ocean.
Hawaii - There are tons of gorgeous locations in Hawaii that would make a perfect backdrop for your ceremony. On the beach at sunset for example. You could have candles scattered in the sand, creating a beautiful ambiance as you say your I Do's.
Alaska Ice hotel - This is a very unique idea. There are three ice hotels that I know of in the world. One is in Canada, one is in Alaska and the other is in Switzerland (I am focusing on the Alaskan one). The beauty of eloping here is that you can stay in the ice hotel, get married in it, then bath in the natural hot springs outside as you watch the Northern Lights dance above you. You can even go dog sledding, or go for a drink in the ice bar! Very romantic!
Niagra Falls - Straddling the Canadian / United States border, Niagra Falls is beautiful. It's also known as one of the seven natural wonders of the world!
Disneyland - Fun and exciting! Afterwards you can go on rides and watch the fireworks!
