Romantic Ideas For Teens

-- Romantic Ideas For Teens --

For many teenagers, the urge to be romantic is strong! Maybe you already have a girlfriend or boyfriend, or maybe you’re trying to win the heart of someone new. There are lots of romantic ideas for teens – the best piece of advice is to follow your heart!

The most romantic thing you can do to create a sense of romance between you how your love interest is to really listen when he or she is talking. Maintain eye contact, and ask questions to show your interest and to get to know him or her better. Is Valentine’s Day around the corner? Is it the anniversary of your first kiss? If you want to be a true romantic, follow a few of these romantic ideas for teens!

Fresh Flowers

Giving a girl flowers might be a bit of a cliché, but there’s a reason – every girl appreciates receiving them, they represent love, they’re not too expensive…the list goes on! If you’ve never given a girl flowers, don’t be shy! For a young woman, choose something bright, fresh, and funky. Daisies, sunflowers, or other colourful bouquets are great options. Want to be ultra-romantic? Pick wildflowers yourself and bring them to her doorstep.

Musical Romance

One of the easiest ways to express how you feel is to let someone else do the talking – or the singing! Create a mix CD of songs that capture how you feel, or send them to her using i-tunes.

Cheap Romantic Ideas for Teens

You don’t need to spend a fortune to show her that you care! There are lots of fun date ideas you can do together that won’t have you mowing lawns all summer to pay off. Drive out to a secluded beach and hunt for unique rocks or seashells. Have a miniature road trip to a nearby town that you wouldn’t normally visit and have fun exploring new bookstores, boutiques, boardwalks, and cafes. Why not learn something new together, such as opening up your mom’s cookbooks and learning to make spaghetti together?

Write It Down

Sometimes saying how you feel about someone else can be nerve-wracking. You can take a bit of the stress of thinking on your toes away by writing it down. Either buy a romantic card, or use a simple sheet of paper, and tell her what’s on your mind. If you have a specific question, such as if she will go to a dance with you or be your girlfriend, ask her directly. Tell her how you feel when you look at her, and mention a wonderful memory you shared together. Add a joke or two to keep it light and make her laugh!

Being romantic comes naturally to many people as they grow older – it’s all about doing little things to make your partner’s face light up with a smile! If you’re already in a relationship with her, tuck little notes into her school bag or text book that say she is beautiful and that you are thinking of her. Call him at surprising times, such as first thing in the morning, just to say you are looking forward to seeing him later! Surprise your love interest with your charms, and her heart will be yours.
