Try This Delicious Recipe For Homemade Hot Chocolate





Here's a delicious recipe for homemade hot chocolate that your partner will love!

Its a great way to add a personalized touch to your special occasions together. Or for those nights when all you want to do is cuddle on the couch watching your favorite movie.

This recipe makes one serving of hot chocolate. To make two just double the ingredients.




INGREDIENTS

1 tbs. cocoa powder

2 tbs. sugar

2 tbs. water

1 cup milk

(see "extra ideas" below for flavors you can add to your hot chocolate)



PREPARATION

In a small saucepan or kettle, combine cocoa, sugar and water. On low heat, stir and bring to a slow boil. Add milk. Serve when you've reached a desired temperature.



EXTRA IDEAS

Vanilla - Add just before serving

Amaretto - Add just before serving

Cherry flavoured kool-aid powder - Add to the mixture with the water.

Candy Cane - Add candy canes to the boiling mixture, stirring often. They will melt easily and combine with the rest of the mixture.

Flavored Cream - If you have a favorite flavored cream that you normally use in your coffee, substitute half the milk with it.

Marshmallows - Add while serving

Whipped Cream - Add while serving

Cinnamon - Sprinkle on top

Nutmeg - Sprinkle on top
