Popping the question

One Saturday back in January, I had went to my girlfriend's house to spend some time with her. Well, while there, I had decided to pop the question to her in her front yard. So while we were out in the front yard, I took her hands in mine, got down on one knee in the mud, (it had rained earlier that day), and asked her to marry me.
She was shocked! She placed one of her hands over her mouth and shook her head fast, accepting my proposal. Ever since then, we have never once forgotten that day.
