Learn how to
plan a romantic date!

-- Plan A Romantic Date --

If you want to really sweep her off her feet, it’s time to come up with some ultra-romantic date ideas!

If you’ve done the dinner-and-a-movie thing more times than you can count, maybe it’s time to think outside the (date) box and take her on a date that will surprise and delight her!

Local Events

Check your local city or town guides to come up with some ideas – head to a local street fair, puppy parade, cultural festival, or art show. Choose an event that you might not normally go to, such as an afternoon parade or a music festival in the park. You’d be surprised at the amazing events happening right in your own back yard!

A Passionate Picnic!

Picnics are so underrated! What could be better on a warm afternoon then heading to the park without a care in the world, with a basket full of food and a person you love? Pack foods that are easy to eat such as salads, sandwiches, fruit, and don’t forget beverages: sparkling juices are a refreshing and fancy alternatives. Pack a couple of magazines, a guitar if you’re musical, and a Frisbee and make a day of it!

Lunch Much?

In the summer time, there are few things more enjoyable than lingering over a glass of wine while dining al fresco. Instead of doing a regular dinner out, why not ask your honey to join you for a romantic lunch – preferably on a weekday since that makes even more luxurious!

A Day in the Life

Indulge your sweetheart by playing “a Day in the life,” and doing all things that he or she likes to do! Start by joining her for yoga, going shopping, and end with something extra-fun, like seeing her favorite musical artist. For him, the day might be more like going to a baseball game, heading out for pizza, then watching an action movie! Think of things that your sweetheart really enjoys and then plan out a day full of them – they’ll never forget your sweet gesture!

To Market, To Market

Sometimes, the simplest things in life are some of the most romantic! Head to the market in the morning, stop for coffee, and then spend time strolling through the fruit stands, purchasing yummy things here and there. After the market, bring your finds home to cook a romantic dinner for two!

Adventure!

On dating shows, the couples are often set up to do something spontaneous and adventurous – and there’s a reason! The feelings these activities evoke are similar to those of being in love, increasing a couples bond quickly. So head out sky-diving, mountain climbing or for a romantic balloon ride to do something that’s truly out of this world!

Planning a romantic date can be such a fun way to step away from the ordinary. It doesn’t need to be a special occasion – from a wedding anniversary to a regular Friday night out, you can make any date a romantic date that you’ll both remember forever!
