I did a similar thing except instead of one white rose, I had one FAKE rose with a note that said "I will love you 'till the day the last rose dies" obviously the last one is fake and will never die.

I'm planing on using this idea however my message will be different. I'm going to have 1 blue rose which is her favourite colour and it signifies extraordinary and rarity. My message will be something like "Amoungst these dozen roses only one is as special and rare as you"...I Hope it will work.

yes that is very sweet, but a dozen roses 11 red and 1 white is a symbol of pure love. when you give a dozen roses in that fashion, it should only be to your wife, or maybe even fiance.
