Missing
My husband never wants to stay home.
We live in a tiny trailer, and I understand that it is a little suffocating to stay cooped up, but I can't get him to spend any time with me.
Is there anything I can do?
ANSWER
My best advice would have to be to talk to him about it.
Communication is definately key.
Let him know how important it is to you, that he stays at home more often. He might not realize just how much it means to you.
Most likely, if you talk to him, and tell him how you feel about him constantly going out, he will be willing to listen. If he knows it bothers you, he'll be more willing to stay at home, because he wants you to be happy.
Try negotiating with him to stay home with you for at least 2 or 3 nights a week. They can be your "stay in" nights, where you do things together.
Make them fun for him, so he looks forward to those special nights with you.
The trick is to keep these nights fresh and fun. Because otherwise, they will become a burden. If he is not looking forward to them, they likely wont last long.
Here are some ideas on what you can do for your "stay in" nights together.
* Stay in and watch a movie together. Always try to choose one that you both will enjoy.
* Cook dinner together. Make it fun though, don't be afraid to get flirty.
* Play a romantic game (or any old board game) together.
* Have friends over. Chances are, if he's going out at night, he's meeting up with people he knows. Why not have them over instead?
* Find a hobby. Find something you both enjoy, and learn to do it together. Its a great bonding experience, and you will learn a lot about each other.
* Renovate or redecorate. I have lived in a trailer, and I know they aren't the most spacious places to live. But a little remodeling or redecorating can improve that significantly.
If you enjoy your surroundings, you are more likely to be drawn to them. You will have accomplished something positive together, and you'll be happy with the results.

* Go through old photos and home videos together. It will bring back a flash of great memories of your past together, and may give you ideas of things you've forgotten about, that you can do again in the future.
* Learn to dance. There are tons of great instructional videos that will teach you how to dance. That way you don't have to leave the comfort of home.
There is a website I found that teaches step-by-step dance instructions online, for a monthly membership fee. It is a great tool for couples looking to learn from home. Click here for more info
* Relax. Have a bubble bath together. Evenings are the perfect time to relax.
* Give each other a sensual massage. Click here for my free step by step instructions
All in all, just try to keep an open line of communication between the two of you. If things get boring, or you run out of ideas, try finding ideas together that you both will enjoy.
