I know you expect great things from me on romantic holidays. I love making you happy and seeing you smile. It is the biggest slice of happiness my heart knows. You light up a room when you smile, and that will never change.

I wish that our budget could afford a trip to some place tropical, because you deserve it for all you do. Unfortunately, we can only afford a bus ticket...and nowhere too fun. So I will write you these little nuggets of love in the hopes that it will warm your heart through this cold period of the year.
