Balloon Box!

by Rebeca :).

I'm the creative side of the relationship, but I don't have much money. My boyfriend tends to buy gifts and I make them.

One Valentines day, I had a budget of $20, and I really wanted to do something special for my boyfriend. I was searching through some old junk for something to use for a creative gift and found this HUGE box. What I did was I composed and printed out a poem and put some pictures on the poem. I taped it to the bottom of the box and added some pink lace and fragrence. I, then, bought tons of little bears and plushies and some shiney shredded gift wrap and little candies (i.e. hershey's kisses) (all at the dollar store!) and put them in the box, making sure you couldn't see the bottom. I, then, bought about four helium balloon's and before I wrapped the gift, I put in the balloon's in a way that when he'd open it, they'd pop out. I wrapped the box in beautiful shiney paper and a huge bow. I took the gift to church for a youth meeting we were having that day to prove that I wasn't embarrassed of our love and wanted everyone to know how much I loved him. I gave a speech in front of all of our closest friends and gave him his gift. He teared up and when he opened the gift, he absolutely freaked! He loved it and the special surprise inside.

I hope you guys have as much fun making this as I did!
