A First For Everything

I have lived the last 24 years without ever experiencing a meaningful Valentine's Day. Never have I been with a woman who cares for me enough to be with me on this day.

After 24 years I am proud to say that I found you and have you for this day, February 14, 2011.

I know that Valentine's are meant to be sweet, romantic, cute, and memorable. I hope that this is one you will remember for many years to come. This is but a small little taste of your full experience. It's here so that I can tell you, in words, how much you mean to me.

Things have been amazing for me these past 3 months. I never thought I would find somebody who cares about me as much as you do. I know I do things that really upset you sometimes but you fight through it and give me more than one chance to fix things.

Everything you do makes me like you so much more. You are an amazing bassist/musician and a beast gamer. I love that we can share my two greatest passions with each other. In our short time together I find myself constantly thinking of you. There may be times when you think I am neglecting you but I am really not. I just have trouble expressing my feelings sometimes. I always see couples who spend all their time together and just end up sick and tired of each other that they split. I don't want this with you at all. I want everything to feel fresh. Seeing you after a few days break makes my heart skip a beat. When you walk into a room I light up like the Fourth of July. All I can say is that I like everything about you and hope to spend much MUCH more time with you.

We are young. We have a lot of time ahead of us but that doesn't mean that RIGHT NOW isn't important. Let's continue living life and taking in every moment. Let's use these experiences to shape us into wonderful mature adults. I am glad I get to spent whatever time I have with you no matter what happens. I'm glad there is a first for everything :-D
